Nature provides for every human needs and there was abundance, be it food, water or medicinal herbs and so on. Today much has changed; population has increased and big industries and gigantic infrastructure have come to pre-occupy human society and activity. The climate crisis is the consequence of the heavy industrialization of the North, impacting the global community through their unscrupulous exploitation of natural resources. South of the hemisphere is now faced with climate impact and struggling to sustain growth and development. Climate crisis is majorly contributed by the developed nations; but the developing nations hold the key to mitigation measures, thus, the developing countries are asking the rich nations to put their acts together and pay up for the potential of off-setting carbon emissions through conservation measures, waste management and climate smart agriculture activities. The UNFCCC was to negotiate on how developed nations should pay up on carbon credits to the Developing nations that holds the key to saving the earth.
