M2 - Garbage to Gold (G2G) Campaign: Supported by SBI Foundation & DMC

  • 1201 families were sponsored by Dimapur Municipal Council by providing training through Pro Rural and free bucket distribution to start Kitchen Waste Composting.
  • 30 Youths were trained as WASTE WISE MANAGERS who developed a “pay-for-service” business model in solid waste management.
  • Phevima Eco-Club members were trained in the production of the G2G granules for aiding in fast composting and developing business through the sale of the products. PEC is motivating other peer groups to develop enterprises through Waste Management.
  • 4 Army Cantonment got trained for Institutional level composting under G2G mission.

M3 - Entrepreneurship Incubation: Supported by Quest Alliance

  • Entrepreneurship Skills training to 989 women and men for micro-business development management. The retention rate is only about 35% as many were impacted by the Covid pandemic.
  • Entrepreneurship Incubation Project for High school students is continued, targeting students to get interested in business entrepreneurship development.

  • In the month of June 2023, the Additional Deputy Commissioner gave us a work order to train the local resident of East Dimapur Town Council and we have imparted the training along with free bucket distribution to 11 wards of Purana Bazar, East Dimapur Town Council.

M5 - Covid : "Help Nagaland Breathe" Initiative, Legal Holder: PRO RURAL

  • A fundraising campaign was launched with about 43 stakeholders joining hands to support the most ill-equipped state in India in terms of health infrastructure. The Nagas overseas in 7 countries, organizations abroad, and in India, friends and well-wishers of the state rallied together to build a resource pool that garnered medical equipment, medicines, and relief materials worth Rs 1.5 crores and another Rs 24 lakhs in cash was received, free services during the COVID-19 Pandemic crises.
  • Relief with essential medical equipment, medicines, protective gear, and food and nutritional supplements was distributed to all PHC, DH, and CHC in the 12 districts of Nagaland. Acknowledgment of the recipients has been a voluminous record published by the Help Nagaland Breathe campaign team. Distribution took place under the coordination, supervision, and approval of the state Covid War room headed by the Health and Family Welfare Minister and the state Health Secretary, GoN.
