Mushroom Cultivation Training

On the 19^th of August 2023; Pro Rural conducted a training for 15 days for 36 trainees at Nkio B Village, Peren district on Mushroom Cultivation under the project ‘Skills to Succeed’ funded by Quest Alliance. The Resource person for Mushroom cultivation training was Mr. Kevineituo Tepa who is also a master trainer in cultivating Mushroom. He took the session through a PowerPoint presentation; sharing different types of processes for cultivating mushrooms like length and height of the housing, temperature, medicines & treatment to avoid bacterial infections; followed by a practical demonstration on how to prepare mushroom spawning bags.
