Floriculture Training

On 24^th – 26^th August 2023 at Pudunamei village, Pro Rural in collaboration with Quest Alliance under the project “Skills to succeed” conducted a training program on floriculture cum plant propagation for 34 flower entrepreneurs. The training was conducted by Dr. Arvind Singh from the Central Institute of Horticulture on seed preparation, soil preparation, harvest & post-harvest package practices, drip Irrigation, nurturing & supporting, pest management, disease management, soil health management, how to prepare Farm Yard Manure (FYM), Mulching and how to use it, etc.

Also, an exposure trip was conducted to a Flower Plantation Site.

A practical training session with the farmers on the flower fields for detection, prevention, and treatment of insects, fungi, pests, and diseases on plants.
