There is significant scope and unrealized potential for companies to invest in developmental projects in Nagaland and other Northeastern States under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) provisions outlined in Section 135 and Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013. It is crucial for Implementation Agencies (IAs) to understand these CSR compliances to boost corporate investment in the region’s socio-economic development. Such Capacity-building platforms initiated by the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) in partnership with the HCL Foundation will empower IAs by providing deeper insights, attracting stakeholders, and enabling the effective and efficient execution of CSR projects.
